Features and performance levels
ReSound Omnia comes in different technology levels (9, 7 and 5) offering different features and performance levels. We strongly recommend considering 9 or at least 7 performance levels to enjoy superior speech intelligibility in noisy environments such as pubs, bars and restaurants.
What is the difference between RIE and miniRIE?
RIE stands for receiver-in-ear (some other vendors called it RIC). The Resound miniRIE is smaller in size and has a 24-hour battery range versus 30 hours for RIE. The Resound Omnia RIE can come with Telecoil and 312 battery powered but Resound miniRIE comes only in rechargeable and has no Telecoil version.
