Features and performance levels

ReSound custom-made ITE hearing aids come in different technology levels (9, 7 and 5) offering different features and performance levels. We strongly recommend considering 9 or at least 7 performance levels to enjoy superior speech intelligibility in noisy environments such as pubs, bars and restaurants.

How to order a custom-made hearing aid?

Send us your audiogram so we can discuss your choices. Please use the form at the bottom of this page to send us your audiogram.
Book a Hearing Test & Consultation in our clinic so we can make ear impressions from your ear canals. Or, mail us your deep-canal ear impressions that you have obtained from a local audiologist. This can be a physical ear impression or a file that you can email us. If you already have a pair of Resound in-the-canal hearing aids, the manufacturer already has your files, so please skip this step.
We will make the custom-made hearing aids and mail them to your address within 2-3 weeks.
We will do remote programming and tuning to make sure that they sound natural. Please note that only ITE and ITC can be remotely adjusted. Your hearing aids need to be paired with your mobile phone through the Resound app. For adjusting IIC and CIC hearing aids, you can visit one of our clinics in London or a local audiologist (fees may apply).
You will have a 30-day money-back guarantee if you wish to return them. Also, a 5-year UK warranty if you keep them.

I needed a hearing aid that I can use ear protection on

I couldn't get along with NHS hearing aids particularly because I use ear protectors while working, found the look of these Resound Custom hearing aids cool and robust. The noise reduction is great that is a bonus for the type of work I do. Great support and service by Nejad from HearingNow.

Good in the canal Resound Nexia custom

I was fed up with behind the ear NHS power hearing aids so did speak to Nejad the local audiologist in Crystal Palace and he recommended Resound in the ear. They look like music buds which I don't care, I am a retired lady mostly at home watching TV and listening to music, sometimes meeting friends for lunch. They sound great, no regret. The price and the service of Dr Nejad is highly recommended.

Hearing aids warranty

- 5-year extended UK warranty on all hearing aids (unless stated otherwise in the product description.)

- 1-year manufacturer's UK warranty on accessories including Assistive Hearing Devices (AHD), chargers, remote microphones, TV streamers and other associated electronics.

Hearing aids aftercare

We provide aftercare for all the hearing aids you purchase from HearingNow over their lifetime. The aftercare services of the hearing aids may include online or in-clinic fine-tuning of the hearing aids, minor fixes and repairs, replacement of the domes and other accessories of the hearing aids, liaison with the manufacturers of your hearing aids to repair or replace them when and if needed.

In-clinic - Our hearing aid aftercare will be free of charge for the first 6 months from the date of purchase, and then standard clinic fees are applicable for in-clinic visits.
Telecare - Online telecare aftercare will be free of charge for the warranty period of your hearing aids.

Product refunds are valid for 30 days from the day the hearing aids have been fitted, or 30 days from the date the hearing aids have been shipped to your address if you chose to fit them by your local audiologist.

The customer is responsible for returning postage costs back to our office in London, UK. We highly recommend using tracked and insured couriers such as UPS and DHL. Please read more about our Return and Refund Policy here.

Free Consultation

We offer a free pre-purchase consultation to ensure that you buy a pair of hearing aids that work best for you. Please use the above form to send us a copy of your latest hearing test so we can run your test results on hearing aid manufacturers' software and develop a preliminary assessment for you to understand your options. The objective of this consultation is for you to make an informed decision about purchasing your hearing aids.

Fitting

The initial fitting can be done in our clinic at no additional cost. If they are shipped, when you receive your hearing aids, they are already programmed based on your hearing test results, so they are ready to use. We will call you to ensure they sound clear and natural and, if needed, book an in-clinic or online adjustment session.
