Features and performance levels
ReSound custom-made ITE hearing aids come in different technology levels (9, 7 and 5) offering different features and performance levels. We strongly recommend considering 9 or at least 7 performance levels to enjoy superior speech intelligibility in noisy environments such as pubs, bars and restaurants.
How to order a custom-made hearing aid?
- Send us your audiogram so we can discuss your choices. Please use the form at the bottom of this page to send us your audiogram.
- Book a Hearing Test & Consultation in our clinic so we can make ear impressions from your ear canals. Or, mail us your deep-canal ear impressions that you have obtained from a local audiologist. This can be a physical ear impression or a file that you can email us. If you already have a pair of Resound in-the-canal hearing aids, the manufacturer already has your files, so please skip this step.
- We will make the custom-made hearing aids and mail them to your address within 2-3 weeks.
- We will do remote programming and tuning to make sure that they sound natural. Please note that only ITE and ITC can be remotely adjusted. Your hearing aids need to be paired with your mobile phone through the Resound app. For adjusting IIC and CIC hearing aids, you can visit one of our clinics in London or a local audiologist (fees may apply).
- You will have a 30-day money-back guarantee if you wish to return them. Also, a 5-year UK warranty if you keep them.

I work outside in a rainy and dusty environment (construction), these Resound custom Nexia hearing aids are goo because a. they sound great for speech, b. suppress noise very well and c. they are robust. Highly recommended. Oh and good for listening music too. Highly recommended
