Service Description
We can arrange a home visit for a hearing test. If your hearing aids no longer seem to provide as much benefit as they used to, it's quite possible that you need a fresh hearing test and/or your hearing aids require service and adjustment. Who can take advantage of this service? This service is best suited for housebound patients with limited mobility. What to expect from a hearing test home visit? - Examination of your ears for any earwax blockage or infection - Fresh hearing test - Reprogramming of your hearing aids What if my hearing aids are faulty? Minor repair and service of your hearing aids will be done in our clinic at a separate fee. If your hearing aids have no output, they may need major service. Major service and repair of your hearing aids will be done by the manufacturer, which may take 2-3 weeks. What if I need a pair of new earmoulds? We can take ear impressions for you in this session, but the cost of it will be charged separately. Please inform us when booking this appointment that you do need fresh impressions. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy Please give plenty of heads up if you have to cancel or reschedule a home visit or in-clinic appointment. We will fully refund your deposit if at least 24-hour notice is given for the cancellation of an in-clinic or home visit appointment. You can reschedule or cancel an appointment from your admin panel on our website, our App, or by contacting us on our phone lines. Your payment will be used against the administration of cancellation of your appointment if less than 24-hour notice is provided. No Ear Wax Found Your payment will be used against the time of the clinic to run a visual examination of your ears, video-otoscopy, and possible referral to the GP, hence your payment is not refundable in case there is no ear wax to be removed.
